How to become a voluntary syndic of your co-ownership?

Any co-owner can be appointed as voluntary syndic by the general assembly.

In Belgium, the law allows any co-owner to serve as voluntary syndic.

1. Put yourself forward at the general assembly or submit your candidacy for the agenda. 2. General assembly vote: Appointment requires an absolute majority (50% + 1 of votes). 3. No IPI registration required: Unlike professional syndics, voluntary syndics do not need to be registered. 4. Same legal obligations: A voluntary syndic has exactly the same obligations as a professional one.
